Invoices are currently issued half yearly every January and every July. As always invoices are issued in advance for the six months ahead. Waste weights are estimated and adjusted accordingly on your next invoice.
If your bin hasn’t been emptied please first check if:
If none of the above applies then please contact us and we will investigate the matter further.
Wheelie Bins and bags should be left out on the path, outside of your house unless otherwise agreed. The handles of the wheelie bin should be pointing towards the road. Please ensure that our collection vehicles have safe access and that the bins or bags are not blocked in or hidden behind any vehicles etc.
We do not provide any discounts however you should contact your local authority as in some cases they provide support for refuse collection.
We would ask you to contact the Gardai and report the theft of your bin. Customers are liable to cover the cost of lost or stolen bins while in their procession. A replacement bin will then be delivered. If your wheelie bin is stolen repeatedly one of our representatives will call to your home to review your arrangements.
Mulleady’s are not responsible for lost or stolen tags. To reduce the chance of your tag being stolen please ensure that you fill out your name, address and the date on your tag before attaching it to your bin (please write clearly and legibly). This will reduce the chance of someone else trying to use your tag at a different address.
The use of the wheelie bin is the responsibility of the householder. Mulleady’s cannot monitor unauthorised depositing of waste. If this illegal dumping persists, you should contact your local litter warden who can investigate further.
If you are a Pay by Weight customer then on occasion we will take your extra waste. You should contact our office in advance so that we can pass word onto our lorry drivers. Your wheelie bin will be emptied and weighed as normal. The excess material will then be placed inside the wheelie bin where it will also be weighed and emptied. If you are a Pay by tag customer then only the contents of the wheelie bin will be emptied.
You will be contacted by our accounts department. You will be required to send an alternative form of payment within 5 days or service may be suspended. There will be a charge of €5 for each returned direct debit as a result of bank charges passed on to Mulleady’s Ltd.
We only make one presentation to your bank per month, you must make an alternative form of payment within 5 days. If we get more than two returned direct debits, then unfortunately direct debit will no longer be an option and the remainder of your invoice must be paid in full.
If you are changing account but not changing bank then you just need to send us your new account details giving 7 days prior notification. If you are changing bank then a new mandate will be required, please give us a minimum of 10 working days to process your mandate. If sufficient time is not given to process the new mandate, payment will have to be received for the month missed immediately. To download a direct debit mandate click here
Notification of Direct Debit cancellation must be made in writing to Mulleady’s Ltd. We require seven working days prior notice of cancellation date.
We require written confirmation of change of address, and we will need sufficient time to issue you with a new label with the correct address (minimum of 10 working days). You can take your wheelie bins to your new address yourself and we will post out the new address labels to you. Wheelie bins will only be collected from address indicated on the label.
We require written notification of cancellation of service. Your account will then be closed and a statement of any outstanding amounts will be issued. Customers are liable for any collections provided at their address after they have moved if they have failed to cancel the service. Refunds (if due) will only be issued if proper notification has been received and we have recovered our wheelie bins.
